The Good Samaritan Hospital construction project has been completed. The project consisted of two structures that required 43,000 man-hours to fabricate the 3,015 tons of structural steel by both the Canron Annacis and Portland plants. Fabrication started in 2008, and continued throughout most of 2009. The eight storey Good Samaritan Hospital expansion, erected by Skanska Buildings USA, is scheduled to start taking patients in early 2011.
